Fan, Filter and Housings

  • The Fan Filter and Fan Filter Housing Assembly function together to filter air drawn from outside the shelf by the 19-Inch Fan Assembly (P/N 1182006L1)
  • The Fan Assembly draws air through the Total Access shelf to cool the modules and vent heat through the rear of the Heat Baffle and Fiber Tray
  • The Fan Filter and Fan Filter Housing Assembly prevent dust and debris from collecting on the modules and PCB components, minimizing potential module performance degradation

Heat Baffle

  • Provides dual functions as a heat baffle and front panel access for a front access mounted Total Access 3010 19-inch Punchdown Chassis (P/N 1182013L1)
  • Directs forced air ventilation through the bottom of the chassis and out the top
  • Heated air is directed away from the equipment operating above the heat baffle
Power Supplies

  • Provides power for the Total Access 1124/1148 Line Powered Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM)

  • Provides ±145 VDC power and can span distances up to 60 kft (approximately 11 miles)
