New Grad Recruiting

How to Apply

We have relationships with many universities across the country. Students are encouraged to register with their university's Career Center and request an interview with ADTRAN following the processes established by the Career Center. It’s also important for students to apply for our positions online at www.adtran.com/apply.

Our team will review resumes submitted and select students to interview. Following the interview, students will receive notification of ADTRAN's decision via email and may be asked to visit ADTRAN for additional interviews. Minimum GPA requirement: 3.4 for Engineering roles.

Internships

Our Technical Internship Program offers qualifying college students a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience before graduation. If our Co-op program isn't the right alternative for you, consider an internship to help jumpstart your career. This offers students a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience before graduation. 

We provide a variety of internship opportunities in areas throughout the company such as Software Development, Testing, Research and Development, Technical Support, and Hardware Design.

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a four year institution
  • Engineering students must be enrolled in an accredited ABET program
  • GPA: 3.8/4.0 minimum cumulative
  • Maximum of two college semesters remaining following scheduled work term

ADTRAN Co-ops

Our Co-op program provides multiple opportunities for training, education, certifications and real-time work experience. Co-ops work alongside professional engineers and staff on projects that are relevant to the company.
Majors recruited: Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and occasionally Mechanical and Optical Engineering.
