Management System


The ADTRAN Management System (AMS) provides a mechanism for management of processes throughout ADTRAN's facilities, products and services. The external aspects which a facility may control and directly manage, and those it does not control or directly manage but can be expected to have an influence. Continuous improvement is an integral part of the system.

The AMS is based on Quality Management concepts, which provide an environment of employee involvement with management support. Management includes modern management techniques, quality models, improvement/statistical tools, and team building. These are evolving characteristics and require continued improvement. The ultimate objective of Quality Management and the AMS is customer satisfaction.

ADTRAN's management system is designed to meet and exceed all of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, and the hardware and software requirements of TL 9000 R6.0/R5.0. ADTRAN maintains a current TL 9000 registration profile within the QuEST Forum's Registration Management System (RMS) and certifications for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, and TL 9000-H R6.0/R5.0 (hardware and software).
